We’re starting the year with a bang and currently have opportunities for mid-level (3+ years experience) freelance industrial designers to come work with our team in our studio. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR...
We are looking for people who are interested in designing for a range of markets including consumer products, personal care and structural packaging and who can hit the ground running. We’re a fast-paced office and a previous consultancy experience is a big plus.

Solid sketching, communication and Adobe skills are a must, as is proficiency in Solidworks and Keyshot. You should also have a good handle of what it takes to design for production - be prepared to take your designs past the concept stage. For startups we create brands from scratch so a demonstrable understanding of positioning and strategy work is helpful, along with an understanding of the startup scene.

THE FINE PRINT...
Please understand that this position will initially be freelance. There is the possibility that it may develop into a full-time salaried position but let's see if we work well together first. Also we are looking for people with demonstrable real-world experience, preferably in a consultancy environment so if you're fresh out of school this is not the gig for you.

The position will be based in our studio in midtown New York City so ONLY locally-based designers should apply. We're not interested in working with people remotely - it doesn't fit well with our collaborative team-based approach. So we ask you only to apply if you're local to New York and able to work in our studio - if you're not then please don't waste our time - or yours.
