Herzog & de Meuron has an opportunity for a BIM lead to join its firm in Basel, Switzerland.

Herzog & de Meuron is an international architecture firm with its head office in Basel and subsidiaries in Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States and Hong Kong.

To complete the team in our Basel office we are seeking for immediate employment as BIM Lead (100%).

Your profile:

• diploma or masters in architecture (university of applied sciences or university)
• a minimum of three years’ experience in design development, tender and construction documentation in an architectural firm
• expert knowledge in Autodesk Revit is required
• proficiency in Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, Dynamo and Grasshopper is preferred

You will support the architectural production and development of projects in all stages of planning, detailing, and documentation. The primary responsibility is working with a project team to strategise, maintain, and employ effective BIM strategies, tasks, and workflows through the life of the project. Candidates will also oversee the creation, administration, and coordination of BIM related documents and are expected be able to provide expertise that allows for the incorporation of BIM into the design process through training and knowledge transfer.

You enjoy working in an international and creative environment. Candidates should be fluent in English (French is an advantage), self-motivated and have the desire and talent for training others. You have clear understanding and proven expertise in creation of construction documents and can communicate BIM and 3D-modelling principles to colleagues, clients, contractors and collaborators.
